Cookies
Effective from: 22 October 2026
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as browser storage (sessionStorage), work the same way. They keep the website running, remember your settings and – if you agree – measure traffic.
2. Legal basis
We store necessary cookies on the basis of our legitimate interest (keeping the website functional and secure). Analytical and marketing cookies are stored only with your consent (Section 89(3) of Czech Act No. 127/2005 Coll. on Electronic Communications and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Consent is voluntary, you give it separately for each optional category and you can change or withdraw it at any time.
3. Cookie categories
| Category | Purpose | Provider | Default |
|---|---|---|---|
| Necessary | running the website: form protection, storing your cookie choice, the AI chat | operator | always on, cannot be switched off |
| Analytical | measuring traffic and improving the website – our own statistics and Google Analytics 4 | operator; Google Ireland Ltd. | off |
| Marketing | measuring advertising effectiveness and showing more relevant ads | providers of advertising tools | off |
No optional category is pre-selected. Until you give consent, Google Analytics scripts and marketing tools are not loaded and our own traffic measurement does not run. Marketing tools are loaded only after you consent to this category.
4. Specific cookies and storage
| Name | Purpose | Category | Retention | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| PHPSESSID | keeping the session and form security tokens, showing messages after a form is submitted | necessary | until the browser is closed | our website |
| cc_cookie_consent | storing your consent choice (categories, date) | necessary | 180 days or until you change your choice | our website |
| sessionStorage (AI chat) | remembering the ongoing conversation with the AI chat, only if you use the chat | necessary (at your request) | until the browser tab is closed | our website |
| cc_visitor_id | anonymous distinction of visitors in our own statistics | analytical | 1 year | our website |
| cc_session_id | distinguishing visits (sessions) in our own statistics | analytical | 30 minutes | our website |
| _ga, _ga_* | distinguishing visitors and sessions in Google Analytics 4 | analytical | up to 2 years |
Retention periods and names of third-party cookies are based on the providers’ documentation and may change; you can check the current state in your browser settings. Analytical cookies are stored only after you consent to the relevant category.
We serve fonts and other website components from our own server, so your IP address is not passed to third parties because of them. The exception is the Google map on the Contact page: it loads only after you click the button to display it. When it loads, Google may process your IP address and store its own cookies.
5. How to give, change and withdraw consent
On your first visit a bar appears with three equally accessible options: Accept all, Reject optional and Cookie settings. In the settings you can separately enable analytical and marketing cookies and save your choice.
You can change or withdraw your decision at any time via the Cookie settings link in the website footer. When you withdraw consent, the relevant tools stop loading, their cookies on our website are removed and the page reloads without them. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.
Your consent is stored in your browser for the website address on which you gave it. If you open the website at a different address or in another browser or device, the bar will appear again.
6. Managing cookies in your browser
You can limit or block cookies in your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge – Privacy and security menu). Blocking necessary cookies may limit form submission and the chat.
7. Transfers outside the EU
Google may process Google Analytics data in the United States as well. A transfer takes place only after you consent to analytical cookies and is based on an adequacy decision (EU–US Data Privacy Framework) or standard contractual clauses. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
